Bristol Meeting 6/6/11:
A group of concerned citizens from Bristol and New Hampton held an informational presentation at Newfound Regional High School about Northern Pass which discuessed the process, electromagnetic radiation and landowners private property postings. About 40 people attended.

Campbell McLaren, MD, is an emergency room doctor at Littleton Regional Hospital and spoke about health impacts of HVDC power transmission, the permitting process for the project and the politics behind it.

Peter Martin
Peter Martin of Plymouth (no relationship to Andy Martin) spoke about the Democracy School and how people can organize and what they need to do to be effective and what resources are available.

Rick Samson
Rick Samson of Stewartstown shared with the audience the No Trespassing notcies that property owners are using to protest Northern Pass and the legislative process on HB 648 as well as a citizen petition to protect private property rights.

Andy Martin
Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin addressed the audience about how the little guys can win and he will provide a very strong voice in the Republican field to make sure that other candidates take a stand against Northern Pass too.
