HB 648 12/8/11:
The Senate Judiciary Committee held an executive session on HB 648 relative to eminent domain by public utilities. This bill was re-referred to the committee back in June. Amendments were made to replace the original bill. Over 100 were in attendence and most were wearing orange.

Here is the amendment to HB 648 which replaces the original bill. NOTE: These changes do not prohibit Northern Pass from seeking eminent domain whereas the original bill would have prevented them from even asking for it.
